LCD Soundsystem Tour 2023/2024
LCD Soundsystem tour 2023 - 2024 announced: The LCD Soundsystem announced plans for a residence in the California Bay Area this summer, programming eight shows in Oakland and San Francisco. The Brooklyn-based band, led by James Murphy, will first go to the Oakland Fox Theater on August 16, 17, 18 and 19, and then move to San Francisco for subsequent performances at Warfield on August 21, 22, 23 and 24. Shortly after this announcement, the LCD Soundsystem ran similar mini-residences at Philadelphia’s Franklin Music Hall and then the Boston Roadrunner. The band performs six concerts at the O2 Academy Brixton in London, UK, from late June to 3 July, before heading to the Bay Area on 16 August. They will also play This Aint at the Picnic Festival on August 27 and 28 before leaving the state of California.
The LCD Soundsystem is making mini-homes in cities around the world this year, having already stopped in Philadelphia and Boston, with shows in London in July. Now they’ve announced late summer shows at the Bay Area: Oakland’s Fox Theater from August 16-19 and The Warfield from San Francisco from August 21-24. Tickets for these concerts are on sale on Friday, June 17 at 1pm Pacific, with LCD pre-sales starting on Tuesday, June 14 at 10am Pacific.
